Aryan Khan drug case: Two from Odisha arrested over cruise rave party

Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: More arrests were made in connection with the cruise drug bust case in Mumbai. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested four more persons including another Odia associated with the case today evening.

Official sources at NCB said the four accused will be produced before the court tomorrow. A total of 16 persons have been arrested so far in the cruise drug bust case.

Earlier in the day, the Esplanade Court in Mumbai sent Abdul Qadir Sheikh, Shreyas Nair, Manish Darya, Avin Sahu to the NCB custody till October 11. They were arrested earlier today.

NCB official sources said so far two Odias are among the 16 accused arrested in the case. Manish Rajgaria from Rourkela and Avin Sahu from Rorukela Township were among the accused, the NCB official sources added.

On the other hand, the Esplanade Court on Monday extended, till October 7, the NCB custody of Aryan Khan – son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan and producer Gauri, following his arrest after the rave party aboard a luxury cruise ship off Mumbai coast was busted on October 2 night.

Besides, the court also sent two co-accused Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant, who were arrested along with Aryan, to the custody of NCB till October 7.
