Ashok Sahu hits back at BJP leadership in Odisha

Barely few hours after he was suspended, Senior BJP leader Ashok Sahu today hit back at the party leadership in Odisha and said the suspension order could have waited till his reply over the charges against him was taken into account.

Ashok Sahu 1“If you give the show cause notice, you could have deferred the suspension by seven days till my reply over the contentious issue reached you. I will certainly lodge my complaint with the central leadership over the issue,” Sahu told media persons here.

Lashing out at the leaders, who are calling the shots in the affairs of the party in Odisha, he said the central leadership would be apprised of the fact that the front-ranking leaders of the party are responsible for the bad performance of BJP in the state.

“The front-ranking leaders of the party are responsible for the status and condition of thr BJP in the state. Many corrupt former ministers of the party, be it Manmohan Samal, Samir Dey, Jaynarayan Mishra and the state president KV Singhdeo are responsible for the disastrous situation in the party,” said the suspended BJP leader.
