ASO recruitment: Odisha Public Service Commission declares exam schedule; see details

Cuttack: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) today announced the date for the written examination for recruitment to the post of Assistant Section Officer (ASO).

In a statement, the commission informed the written exam will be conducted at different educational institutions of 30 districts and three sub-divisions of the State on August 21, 2022 (Sunday).

There will be three sittings of the written exam on August 21, 2022.

The first sitting will be from 9 am to 10:30 am for Paper-I General Awareness. However, the Person with Disability (PwD) candidates will get additional 30 minutes.

The second sitting will be from 11.30 am to 1 pm for Paper-II a) Test of Reasoning and Mental Ability b) Mathematics. For this sitting as well, PwD candidates will get 30 minutes extra.

The third sitting will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm for Paper III Language a) English b) Odia. For PwD candidates, this sitting will be from 2:30 pm to 5:10 pm.

The roll numbers of the provisionally admitted candidates, venue of examination centre, admission certificate and instruction to candidates can be downloaded by the candidate from the website of the commission —www.opsc.gov.in

The statement further mentioned, “The eligible candidates are advised to visit the website of the commission regularly for update.”
