ASTHA School of Management felicitated UGC Member Prof. (Dr.) Sachidananda Mohanty

Bhubaneswar: ASTHA School Management, the NAAC Accredited leading B-School in Odisha, organized a unique felicitation ceremony for its Honorary Advisor, Prof. (Dr.) Sachidananda Mohanty who has recently been appointed as a Member of University Grants Commission (UGC) by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Prof. Sachidananda is former Professor and Head of the Department of English, University of Hyderabad, and the former Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Odisha.

Dr. Bankim Mohanty, Executive Director-cum-Secretary, ASTHA School of Management conveyed his heartfelt congratulation to Prof. Sachidananda for his marvellous accomplishment while welcoming the congregation at the felicitation ceremony. He described Prof. Sachidananda as a Star of Brilliance who has brought tremendous pride and glory to the entire Sate of Odisha. He emphasized that implementation of NEP – 2020 will see new light in the country under the leadership of Prof. Sachidananda Mohanty. On behalf of ASTHA School of Management, Dr. Bankim Mohanty expressed his gratitude by felicitating Prof. Sachidananda with a Scroll of Honor. The felicitation ceremony was followed by a press meet where media representatives from both print and electronic media asked Prof. Sachidananda for his expert opinion on various aspects of higher education.

Prof. (Dr.) Sharmila Subramanian, Principal, ASTHA School of Management provided the Vote of Thanks at the end of the ceremony. Prof. Jinasis Mohanty (Dean – T &P) along with his team successfully coordinated the felicitation ceremony.
