Bhubaneswar: Odisha DGP Abhay urged the people of the state not to visit Puri today in view of the curfew imposed in parts of the town.
The top cop further informed that darshan of deities by devotees will not be allowed.
However in view of curfew in part of Puri, all are requested to avoid going to Puri today. It is again reiterated that Darshan of Trinity for devotees is NOT allowed. https://t.co/Eu2doyYkPn

Earlier, vehicular movement into Puri district was restricted from 9 PM of June 22 to 2 PM of June 24 to avoid public congregation during Ratha Jatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings in the town.
However, restriction on travelling to Puri on June 24 was withdrawn later.
