Ban on international flights extended till Aug 31

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: As part of precautionary measures ahead of 3rd wave of COVID-19, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) further extended the restrictions on international flight services in the country.

The passenger flight services from and to India were extended till 11.59 PM of August 31, 2021.

As per the earlier announcement, the ban on international commercial flights to and from India was ending on July 31.

The restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by the DGCA, a circular stated today.

However, international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on case to case basis.
