Barbaric! Man stones wife to death in Odisha, dumps body

Angul: In a gut-wrenching incident, an inebriated man allegedly killed his wife following a quarrel in Balanda area of Talcher today.

However, police have detained the accused Muna Behera and started interrogating him.

According to sources, Muna came home intoxicated last night and started to fight with his wife Geeta Behera over intoxication. In an outburst of anger he took a stone and crushed his wife to death. Geeta died on the spot.

After killing his wife, Muna dumped the body near a cement store in Balanda Gurudwara market.

On receiving information, Vikrampur police recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.
