A beheaded body of a man was found lying on the railway track at Gunupur railway station in Odisha’s Rayagada district today morning.

According to reports, the beheaded body was spotted by locals this morning after which they informed the Government Railway Police (GRP).

While the identity of the deceased was not established, the GRP recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.

Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
