BeMC Mayor dances to the tune of ‘Hey Naveen Babu, Ame Tama Fan’; video goes viral

Berhampur: Sanghamitra Dalei, the Mayor of Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC), was seen in a video dancing to the tune of a song number ‘Hey Naveen Babu, Ame Tama Fan’. However, the video of Dandiya Dance in a group went viral today on different social media platforms.

The Mayor had earlier posted the video on her social media pages. Interestingly, she deleted it for reasons not known yet. The Mayor was invited to ‘Dandiya Raas’ programme which was organised in Berhampur City on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami (Dussehra). The viral video was captured by somebody through a mobile phone, a source said.

Berhampur MP Chandrasekhar Sahu, MLA Bikram Panda, Ganjam BJD district unit president Ramesh Chandra Chyau Patnaik were also invited to the event and were seen in the video while dancing.

The song played in Dandiya Raas has got mixed reactions from people of all sections of society.
