Beware! Rainfall, thunder to lash 8 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorm and rainfall for eight districts of Odisha today.

Parts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar) and Mayurbhanj are likely to witness moderate thunderstorm and lightning.

Rainfall likely over several parts in Odisha ahead of Diwali

Odisha weather forecast: Thunderstorm, lightning in these districts till Aug 13

Spells of moderate rainfall are also likely to occur in these areas, as per the latest weather bulletin.

Such weather conditions will prevail between 2:45 pm and 5:45 pm this afternoon.
