Bhadrak DRDA Computer Programmer under Vigilance scanner

Bhadrak: Vigilance officials today raided the office and houses of Computer Programmer of Bhadrak District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Sandip Mohanty on charges of amassing property disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Five separate teams of Balasore and Bhadrak Vigilance divisions conducted simultaneous raids in Bhadrak, Puri and Bhubaneswar. The anti-corruption officials raided his chamber at the DRDA office, his ancestral house at Asthala and in-laws houses at Kuansa in Bhadrak district and his two houses in Puri and Bhubaneswar.

Sources said a disproportionate assets complaint was filed against Mohanty. Acting on the complaint, the Balasore Vigilance SP had directed to conduct the raids. Several important documents have been seized during the search.

However, the Vigilance officials are yet to ascertain the exact amount that the DRDA Computer Programmer had amassed.
