Bhagwan Bagarti resigns as Bolangir district Cong president

President of the Bolangir district unit of the Congress Bhagwan Bagarti today resigned from his post.

Reports said Bagarti has resigned from the post citing personal reasons.Two days back resentment had surfaced in the party’s district unit over the appointment of Samarendra Mishra, local Congress MLA Narasingha Mishra’s son as the party’s coordinator for panchayat elections in Bolangir and Subarnapur districts.

Bagarti was said to be unhappy over the development and has resigned from his post, reports added.
