Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday announced its decision to shut its offices tomorrow in view of ‘Bharat Bandh’ call given by farmers. In a statement, the government said transport and vehicular movements are expected to be affected by the bandh in the State.
Also, the strike is likely to affect the measures being taken by the government to prevent spread of Covid.
Keeping this in mind, the government decided to shut its offices tomorrow, the statement added.
However, essential services provided by the government will remain functional in the State.
Farmers’ organisations will observe the country-wide bandh from 6 am to 6 pm tomorrow opposing three farm laws.
