Bhola Bhagat sent to Choudwar Jail in Odisha’s Cuttack

After the expiry of remand period, Bholanath Bhagat—a key aide of notorious gangster siblings Sushant and Sushil Dhalsamanta—was produced before Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Odisha’s Cuttack today.

The court sent Bhola Bhagat to Choudwar Circle Jail as the Commissionerate Police did not seek further remand of the accused.

“We have gathered vital information from Bhola Bhagat during his two phases of remand. We have begun investigation as per the information provided by him,” Cuttack DCP Sanjeev Arora said.

In a similar development, Commissionerate Police today seized three bank accounts of Pramod Patra alias Bhuan, one of the closest associates of the Dhalsamanta siblings.

According to reports, police seized three bank accounts of Axis Bank in Badambadi area where Bhuan had deposits of Rs 46 lakh.
