Bhubaneswar becomes COVID-19 free; 57 recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s capital city became COVID-19 free as 57 patients of the state, including three from Bhubaneswar, recovered from the disease, official sources said today.

The 57 persons are from Ganjam (40), Jagatsinghpur (5), Mayurbhanj (4), Bhubaneswar (3), Bolangir (2) and one each from Sundergarh, Balasore and Kendrapara, sources said.

With this, the number of recovered persons in the state rose to 277.

Worth mentioning, Bhubaneswar had initially emerged as the first COVID-19 hotspot of the state with 50 positive cases.
