Bhubaneswar boils at 43. 7 degree C, hottest in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Capital City Bhubaneswar is the hottest place today with recording the maximum day temperature of 43.7 degrees Celsius.

The Millenium City Cuttack also sizzled at 41.1 degrees Celsius.

The entire Odisha continued to reel under intense heat wave as eight places recorded temperature above 40 degrees Celsius.

The maximum day temperature recorded at Titlagarh was 42 degrees Celsius followed by Jharsuguda (40), Sambalpur (39.9), Talcher (43.3), Malkangiri (40.8) and Angul (42.7).

Coastal parts of the State, however, experienced a slight respite.

Chandbali recorded temperature of 40.5 degrees Celsius, Paradip (32.6), Baripada (39.6), Hirakud (39.1) and Gopalpur (32.2).

The Met Office, however, predicted that the temperature will witness a fall across the State for the next few days.
