Bhubaneswar continues to be the hottest place in Odisha for 2nd consecutive day

Bhubaneswar: The capital city of Odisha continued to be the hottest place in the state for the second consecutive day.

The maximum temperature crossed 35 degree C at 15 places in the state today.

The capital city recorded the highest maximum temperature of 36.4 degree Celsius today, said the IMD regional centre here in its evening bulletin.

Western Odisha towns of Titilagarh and Bhawanipatna recorded the second highest maximum temperature of 36 degree C.

The maximum temperature was 35.8 degree C at Chandbali and Bhadrak in coastal Odisha, added the IMD.

The maximum temperature was 35.6 degree C at Jharsuguda, 35.5 degree C at Sonepur and Boudh, 35.4 degree C at Nayagarh and Balangir, 35.2 degree C at Dhenkanal and 35 degree C at four places—Cuttack, Angul, Malkangiri and Talcher, said the IMD.

Notably, the capital city had recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37 degree C in the state yesterday.
