Bhubaneswar: A Bhubaneswar-New Delhi IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Odisha capital, today.

According to reports, the aircraft (IndiGo 6E 2065) developed 'technical issue' in its left engine after departing from the BPIA, following which the pilot opted for the emergency landing at the airport.

All the passengers were reportedly safe in the aircraft.

After the landing, necessary examination and restoration work were carried out. Later, the flight resumed its journey towards Delhi.
