Bhubaneswar: Drunk man floating in Daya river rescued by Fire Services personnel

Bhubaneswar: A drunk man floating in Daya river on the outskirts of Odisha capital was rescued by Fire Services personnel, today.

According to reports, the man was floating in the waterbody holding a pillar of the bridge. On being informed, a team of the Fire Services Department rushed to the spot.

“We got information regarding the incident, following which a team was sent to the place. With the help of lifejacket, he was rescued and brought ashore. His condition was stable,” said Abani Kumar Swain, Assistant Fire Officer, Bhubaneswar.
