Bhubaneswar: The restrictions imposed in the area adjacent to the petrol pump near Raj Bhavan here will remain in force till 2 PM today as part of precautionary measures, informed Commissionerate Police Sudhanshu Sarangi today.

The CP informed that the salvage operation to remove remaining LPG gas was completed by 6:30 AM today. However, the operation to remove petrol and diesel is still underway.

" Since the site is very much active, security precautions and restrictions on road traffic will continue till we declare the place safe. We expect the operations to end by 2 PM today, " CP informed.

It is pertinent to mention here that one of the two critically-injured persons succumbed to burn injuries while undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
