Bhubaneswar: As many as 27 COVID cases have been detected from a private hospital in Odisha capital, official sources said today.
The cases were detected from Blue Wheel Hospital at Mancheswar in the city. Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) authorities today sealed the hospital for violation of COVID-19 guidelines of the state government.
A show-case notice has also been issued to the hospital, sources said.

After detection of the cases, all the direct contacts have been quarantined and tested. Premises of the health facility has been sanitized to contain the further possibility of the spread of the virus.
Most of the cases are employees of the hospital while the rest staffers have been quarantined and tested, sources added.
