Bhubaneswar hottest place in Odisha

The capital city of Bhubaneswar became the hottest place in Odisha today with 42.8 degree Celsius as the ongoing heat wave conditions intensified further in the state.Weather

Temperature also shot up to 40 degree and above at 15 places- Baleswar (41), Chandbali (41.9), Cuttack (40), Angul (42.7), Baripada (41.6), Jharsuguda (41.1), Sambalpur (41.7), Hirakud (41.1), Talcher (41.2), Bhawanipatna (42.7), Bolangir (41.8), Titlagarh (42.5), Malkangiri (41), Sonepur (41) and Dhenkanal (41.1).

Talking to the media today, director of Indian Meteorological Centre (IMD), Bhubaneswar, Dr Sarat Sahu said the temperature in the state would go up to a maximum of 3 to 4 degree Celsius in the next five days while temperature in Bhubaneswar is most likely to touch 45 degree Celsius during this period.
