Bhubaneswar-Junagarh express from tomorrow. Here’re details

Bhubaneswar: Good news for people of Kalahandi district as their longstanding demand is going to be fulfilled with Ministry of Railways’ nod to run an express train between Junagarh and Bhubaneswar from tomorrow.

Train number 18438 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Express will be flagged off by Kalahandi MP Basant Panda at 4.00 pm tomorrow at Junagarh Railway Station, informed an official source in East Coast Railway (ECoR).

According to reports, with a proposal approved by Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, two independent trains — 18437/18438 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Express between Bhubaneswar and Junagarh Road and 18447/18448 Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express between Bhubaneswar-Junagarh-Bhubaneswar — will run separately.

As per the move, 18437/18438 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Link Express will run as an independent service. While train number 18438 Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar will leave Junagarh at 4.30 pm everyday and will arrive at 7.30 am. Similarly, the departure timing of 18437 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Express is 10.35 pm from Bhubaneswar and will arrive at Junagarh at 10.30 am.

The daily train will have stoppages at Khordha Road, Balugaon, Chatrapur, Badmal, Ichhapuram, Palasa, Nuapada, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Rauagada, Bissam Cuttack, Muniguda, Ambodala, Langigarh Road, G Ramachandrapur, Depur, Bhawanipatna and Kutrukhmar railway stations from both the directions.
