Bhubaneswar: Several traffic restrictions will be in force in Odisha capital on September 29 and 30 in view of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda's visit to the state.

Large scale gathering is expected at Janta Maidan here for party programmes.

Anticipating huge vehicular flow on the routes interspersing the Janta Maidan, especially the Jayadev Vihar-Nandankanan road and Sainik school-Apollo Hospital road, the following traffic restrictions have been imposed by the Twin City Commissionerate Police.

* Vehicles coming from Jayadev Vihar intending to go towards Nalco Chhak and further and vice-versa via Xavier chhak in the morning and evening hours (10AM-4PM) are advised to start early for their destination on 29th and 30th September.

* Vehicles coming from Acharya Vihar intending to go towards Nalco chhak via Apollo Hospital-Sainik School road and vice-versa in the morning and evening hours (10AM-9PM) are advised to start early for their destination on 29th and 30th September.

* Vehicles intending to traverse through Jayadev Vihar an Acharya Vihar are advised to travel through alternative roads on the said date and time.

* Vehicles from feeder roads emerging at Jaydev Vihar-Nandankanan road are advised to start early especially in the morning and evening hours (10AM-4PM) on 29th and 30th September.
