Bhubaneswar: Lingaraj Temple reopens for devotees; Vaccination certificate mandatory for entry

Bhubaneswar: The Lingaraj Temple here, which was closed during the second wave of COVID-19, reopened for devotees, today.

Final COVID-19 vaccination certificate has been made mandatory for entering the shrine. A maximum of 100 persons will be allowed inside the temple at a time.

Devotees will not be allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. They will be allowed to have darshan of the deity near the ‘Aadapa Kaatha’.

Social distancing and use of mask is compulsory for the devotees inside the temple premises.
