Bhubaneswar minor girl rape: 2 OTV employees among 4 held

Bhubaneswar: In a major development in the minor girl rape case in the state capital, Odisha Crime Branch (CB) has picked up four persons, including two employees of private news channel OTV, for questioning in connection with incident.

Sources said the four detainees are OTV employees Anirudh Panda and Krushna Chandra Behera and two security guards. FIRs were lodged against them by mother of the victim girl at Infocity police station.

Anirudh and Krushna were picked up from Gop in Puri and Chandni Chowk in Cuttack, respectively. Besides, one of the security guards was detained from Kalinganagar in Jajpur and another from Bhubaneswar.

The four accused are currently being interrogated at CB’s office in Cuttack. They will be produced before court later in the day once the Crime Branch confirms their arrest.
