Bhubaneswar: Normalcy in train services from August 31

Bhubaneswar: Train services in Odisha capital, which were affected due to project work, will attain normalcy from August 31, East Coast Railway sources said.

Major infrastructure and safety related works were going on between August 12 and 30.

The projects were related to 3rd line between Bhubaneswar and Mancheswar along with major changes in layout of Mancheswar Railway Station and major rearrangement of Signaling System at Bhubaneswar Railway Station.

Entry and exit to and from Bhubaneswar Coach Maintenance Depot were badly affected during the period.

Some trains originating or passing through Bhubaneswar were cancelled temporarily during the project work.

Trains affected on August 30

Partially cancelled Trains:

A. 11020 Bhubaneswar-CSMT Mumbai Konark Express originating from Khurda Road.

B. 12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express originating from Brahmapur

C. 17015 Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha originating from Khurda Road

D. 22819 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Inter City Express originating from Khurda Road

Cancelled Trains:

A. 02831 Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special Express

B. 07166 Cuttack-Hyderabad Special

C. 08411 Balasore- Bhubaneswar Passenger Special

D. 08413 Talcher-Puri Passenger Special

E. 08415 Jaleswar-Puri Passenger Special

F. 08441 Bhubaneswar-Brahmapur Passenger Special

G. 08443 Bhubaneswar-Palasa Passenger Special

H. 12773 Shalimar-Secunderabad Express

I. 12821 Shalimar-Puri Dhauli Express
