Bhubaneswar: OPD of Capital Hospital to remain open from 9 am to 5 pm

Cuttack: The Outpatient Department (OPD) of the Capital Hospital in the city will remain open from 9 am to 5 pm.

While the Health Department of the Odisha Government issued a notification in this regard yesterday, the Capital Hospital will issue the same soon.

Earlier, the OPD service was available daily in two phases– 8 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5 pm.

A proposal for availability of the facility from 9 am to 5 pm has been approved by the Health Department.

However, there will be a lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm.

On the other hand, the emergency department will be functional from 5 pm to 9 am. The department has written a letter to the hospital authorities in this connection.
