Bhubaneswar: Price of paneer, cottage cheese hiked; Know new rate
Bhubaneswar: The price of paneer and cottage cheese in Odisha capital has been hiked by Bhubaneswar Milk Products Traders’ Association.
The rate for paneer has been increased to Rs 250 per kg while the same for cottage cheese was hiked to Rs 180 per kg.

The new rate will be effective from June 1, 2022.
The association said the traders were under financial pressure ever since OMFED increased its milk price by Rs 2 per litre on April 21.
It further said that the businessmen were incurring loss of Rs 12 per kg of cottage cheese.
Hike in fuel prices has also led to increase in cost of transportation of cheese from rural areas to the capital city, the association said.
The new rates will be applicable at all sweet shops in the city.
