Bhubaneswar reports 317 new COVID-19 cases; details here

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally increased to 7332 in Bhubaneswar with another 317 positive cases were reported in the last 24 hours, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.

Of new 317 cases, 206 are quarantine cases including one with travel history and 111 are local contacts.

As per details of fresh cases shared by the BMC, a bank employee and 9 officials of Reserve Police linked with earlier positive cases have been infected with the COVID-19 in the city. Similarly, 12 cases have been detected in Acharya Vihar area.

With new cases, the number of active cases in the city now stands at 2901.

Besides, 170 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours in the State capital taking the total recoveries to 4389. The virus has claimed 33 lives in the city so far.
