Bhubaneswar reports 32 more COVID-19 cases; here’re details

Bhubaneswar: Out of 56 new COVID-19 cases reported in Khordha district in last 24 hours, 32 positive cases belong to Bhubaneswar.

Of 32 fresh cases, 18 are local contacts and 14 cases have been detected from quarantine centres, informed, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the city surged to 557 with 247 active cases.

Meanwhile, 7 more COVID-19 patients have recovered from the virus in the city yesterday.

Following recovery of 7 patients, the number of recovered cases now stands at 302 in Bhubaneswar.

Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised and will be under active surveillance, the BMC tweeted.
