Bhubaneswar reports 52 more COVID-19 cases; tally at 1182

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar reported another 52 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in last 24 hours taking total count to 1182.

Of fresh cases, 34 have been detected from quarantine centres and 18 are the local contacts, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.

While 8 more persons linked with an earlier positive case near a restaurant were found positive for COVID-19, 18 people between 24 and 69 age groups are the newly infected from different parts of the city.

With 52 new cases, the number of active cases in Bhubaneswar now reached 646.

Meanwhile, 29 COVID-19 infected patients have recovered from the disease on Saturday taking total number of recoveries to 523.
