Bibhuti Patnaik to get top Odisha Sahitya Akademi award

Eminent litterateur Dr. Bibhuti Patnaik will be awarded the highest literary award of Odisha, ‘Atibadi Jagannath Das Puraskar’ for the year 2016.

The decision to award Dr. Patnaik was taken today at the Executive Council meeting of the Odisha Sahitya Akademi, the apex literary organization of the state.

The eminent litterateur was selected for the award for his lifetime contribution to literature.
