BIGGEST single-day SPIKE!! New COVID-19 cases cross 10,000 in Odisha; Khordha highest at 1,796

Bhubaneswar: In a first since outbreak of COVId-19 in Odisha, the State witnessed the biggest-ever single day spike of over 10,000 cases  in the last 24 hours.

Total 10,413 fresh COVID-19 infections were reported in a single day from all 30 districts  in Odisha joining the list of other hotspot States including Karnataka and Maharashtra in country.

Of new positive cases, Khordha district continued to register the highest with 1796 cases followed by Sundargarh district with  1100 and Cuttack district with 828 cases in the last 24 hours.
