Bike ambulance service in Odisha’s Koraput soon

Koraput: In a big step in healthcare sector to ensure that patients reach hospitals on time, the bike ambulance service will be launched to provide quick emergency response in remote areas of tribal-dominated Koraput district in Odisha.

The district has received 8 bike ambulances under a special fund released by the Centre. The service will be rolled out soon following decision to be taken within 2-3 days, informed Koraput CDMO.

The fully equipped bike ambulances can ply on kutcha roads and will provide its service to patients in remote areas of Narayanpatna, Bandhugaon, Lamataput and Dasmantpur blocks in Koraput district.
