Bike-borne assailants slit throats of six in Odisha capital

In a shocking incident, three bike-borne men attacked and slit throats of as many as six people on Baramunda-Siripur road of Odisha capital this evening.

All six injured have been admitted to Capital hospital in Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, the attackers — riding a numberless black pulsar motorbike– attacked the men using a straight razor traditionally used for shaving.

The police have managed to arrest one of the accused and are questioning him.

Patrolling has been tightened across the city and search operations are on to nab two others, said Twin City Police Commissioner YB Khurania.
