Bike rider killed in truck accident in Odisha

A bike rider was killed after an oncoming Hyva truck hit him in front of gate no 5 of Paradeep port today.

The deceased has been identified as Aruna Khuntia, a resident of JGAI Colony in the port city, who was working as a procline operator under a contractor.

According to reports, this morning when Aruna was entering to port showing his pass at gate no 5, an oncoming hyva having registration no OR 21 D-5770 hit him and he fell down under the heavy vehicle’s wheels which led to his death.

The careless driving of the hyva driver caused the accident, sources said.
