Bike-truck collision kills two in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: In a tragic incident, two persons died after a motorcycle on which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck on Cuttack-Paradip road near Siuli today.

The deceased have been identified as Narayan Khuntia and Prashant Swain. Both were construction workers by profession and heading towards Cuttack when the accident took place.

Following the mishap, irate locals blocked the road demanding compensation for the families of the deceased. The blockade disrupted traffic movement on the road.

Police have seized the truck and detained its driver for questioning.
