Bizarre! Two youth flee with each other’s wives in Odisha

Balasore: Driven by ‘youthful passions’, two youth fled with each other’s spouses after falling in love. Such a weird incident was reported from Balasore district in Odisha.

According to reports, the two youth along with their wives were engaged at a brickkiln as labourers in Balasore district. They are also the fathers of two children.

Sources said that a labourer from Bangiriposi area in Mayurbhanj district was working with his wife at the brickkiln here. However, he fell in love with one of his co-workers’ wife during work. The labourer, who was deeply in love, eloped her and ran away from the area.

Meanwhile, another labourer followed the same and fled with his co-worker’s wife after not getting his wife at home.

The matter came to fore after the first eloped woman’s brother lodged a missing complaint at Bangiriposi Police Station in Mayurbhanj.

The incident is being probed by the police following the written complaint.
