BJD, Congress announce star campaigners for Pipili By-poll

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the much-awaited Pipili by-poll scheduled to be held on September 30, ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Congress today released list of their star campaigners for the election.

BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik continues to be in top of the party’s star campaigners’ list. Actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty has been exempted from campaigning for party candidate Rudra Maharathy.

Similarly, Congress’ 20 star campaigners include party Odisha In-charge A Chella Kumar, state Niranjan Patnaik and MP Saptagiri Ulaka.

Yesterday, BJP released its list of star campaigners for the its candidate.

Worth mentioning, the ruling party has nominated Rudra Pratap Maharathy where BJP and Congress fielded Ashrit Pattanayak and Bishwokeshan Harichandan, respectively, for the by-poll.
