Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the workshop for around 10 thousand farmers  from all around the state.  The main objective of organising the workshop is to educate the farmers about the state government initiatives and to help them take advantage of it said Susant Singh.

This was revealed in a joint press conference on Tuesday by party krushak cell convenor Susant Singh and spokesperson Shashi Bhushan Behera.

Representatives of various agricultural organisations, members of the state cabinet, MPs, MLAs and senior leaders of the party are scheduled to attend the workshop.

Singh said the state government has taken several steps for the development of agriculture and upliftment of the farmers. He added despite regular natural calamities in the state, Odisha has managed to get krishi karman awards four times during the last five years.

The BJD leader alleged that the central government was ignoring the state government demands.
