BJD members felicitate Naveen for ‘thumping’ victory

Bhubaneswar: With Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is all set to register yet another thumping victory in general elections in the state, members of the party’s women, youth and students’ wings made a beeline to his residence ‘Naveen Niwas’ to felicitate him this evening.

Around 2,000 thousand members of Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) and Biju Mahila Janata Dal (BMJD) garlanded the CM at his residence.

Expressing his gratitude, Patnaik said, “I would like to express deep gratitude to people of our state who showered their blessings time and time again on Biju Janata Dal. I would also like to thank leaders and workers of the party who worked so hard for the elections. And, I want to thank particularly the women of Odisha who came out in large numbers to vote for us.”

As per latest trends, BJD has already won from 10 Assembly segments and leading in over a hundred Constituencies. In Lok Sabha, the ruling party is leading in 15 seats.
