Nine Bhadrak BJD leaders suspended for ‘anti-party activities’

In the latest indication of the rebellion brewing within the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Odisha, party supremo Naveen Patnaik today suspended a number of party leaders in  Odisha’s Bhadrak district including the district unit president Malay Jena for ‘anti-party activities’.BJD

The others suspended by the party president are Bhadrak Town BJD president Tahir Mohammed, Bhadrak block vice president Prafulla Nayak, former councillors Sheikh Jaqaullah (ward no 20), Pranab Das (ward no 13) Habibur Rahman (ward no 17), working committee member Shyamsundar Nayak, Ghulan Ali and Sheikh Nizamuddin, a BJD press release said here today.
