BJP president Amit Shah to visit Odisha on July 1

Bhubaneswar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s national president Amit Shah will visit Odisha on July 1 to review party affairs, informed State BJP general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan here today.

Targeting 120+ seats in upcoming 2019 assembly elections, Shah will interact with the state party leaders to make strategy to achieve the goal.

There are some unconfirmed reports saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also visit Odisha next month.

The possible visit of two heavyweight leaders to the State in one month suggested that the party is eying to strengthen its organisation in Odisha to give a big challenge to the ruling BJD both in assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
