Bhubaneswar: In a major reshuffle in Odisha BJP, Parliamentarian Aparajita Sarangi, MLA Kusum Tete and party spokesperson Lekhashri Samantsinghar were appointed as vice-presidents of the party.
Ahead of visit of senior party leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Odisha scheduled today, the state unit of BJP announced names of 29 State Office Bearers and six State Morcha Presidents following approval of the state party president Manmohan Samal.
Among 29 State Office Bearers, 10 leaders including Aparajita Sarangi, Kusum Tete and Lekhashri have been appointed as the vice-presidents of the organisational districts -- Bhubaneswar, Sundargarh and Balasore respectively. Five including Manas Kumar Mohanty and Simanchal Khatei have been inducted into Manmohan Samal's new team as the general secretaries.
Moreover, 10 including Tankadhar Tripathy and Irasis Acharya have been appointed as secretaries of different oraginisational districts. Umakanta Pattanayak has been appointed as the social media in-charge of Kendrapara organisational district.
The party has also appointed six state morcha presidents. As per the list, while Avilash Panda has been appointed as the President of BJYM for Nayagarh, Aishwarya Biswal, Maheswar Sahu, MLA Nityananda Gond, Bibhu Prasad Tarai and Suratha Biswal have been appointed as the President of Mahila Morcha, President of Kissan Morcha, President of ST Morcha, President of SC Morcha and President of OBC Morcha for the organisational districts -- Jajpur, Keonjhar, Nabarangpur, Jagatsinghpur and Puri respectively.
