BJP workers stage demo in Odisha capital, demand Pitroda’s sacking

Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, May 14:

BJP workers staged a demonstration at the Station Square here today demanding sacking of Odisha government’s Technical Advisor Sam Pitroda.

Slogan shouting saffron party activists led by the party’s state unit Vice President Samir Mohanty demanded Pitroda’s removal alleging the latter’s involvement in the National Herald scam along with Congress’s Sonia and Rahul. The demonstrators alleged that the Congress has functioned as a crutch for Naveen Patnaik.

BJP workers during the demonstration demanded details from the state government about Pitroda’s performance since his joining as the Technical Advisor to the state government.

On the other hand, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) spokesperson Sarat Rout has rubbished BJP’s claims while stating that BJP’s allegations against Pitroda were baseless.
