BJP’s 3rd list announced; Prakash Mishra, Kharavela Swain get LS tickets

Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today released the third list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Odisha.

As per the list, former Odisha DGP Prakash Mishra, who has joined the BJP yesterday, will contest from Cuttack Lok Sabha seat. Minutes after rejoining the saffron party here this morning, Utkal Bharat founder Kharavela Swain was given BJP ticket for Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency.

Similarly, nine candidates were announced by the BJP for the Assembly seats.

Here is the list of candidates for nine Assembly constituencies:

1. Dinesh Jain – Jharsuguda
2. Debendra Mohapatra – Rairakhol
3. Badrinarayan Dhal – Bhandaripokhari
4. Pradeep Naik – Bhadrak
5. Debanarayan Pradhan – Phulbani
6. Sampad Swain – Paradeep
7. Narendra Nayak – Jayadev
8. Biswaranjan Badajena – Jatni
9. Rishabh Nanda – Begunia
