BJP’s ‘Focus Odisha’: Modi, Shah to hold public meetings on April 27

Bhubaneswar: BJP heavyweights will go all guns blazing in Odisha before the fourth and final phase of elections scheduled on April 29 as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah will visit the state on April 27 as a part of their poll campaigning.

Shah is scheduled to visit Morada in Mayurbhanj district and Sukinda in Jajpur district to address election rallies, informed BJP spokesperson Golak Mohapatra today.

This apart, BJP leaders Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh and Roopa Ganguly will visit Odisha for election campaigning on April 24, 25 and 26, respectively, said Mohapatra.

On the other hand, PM Modi will hold a public meeting at Barua in Kendrapara district on April 27, the party had earlier informed.

The BJP has a mammoth task at hand for the Odisha polls as the party is aiming to register victory in more than 120 assembly constituencies of the state and ensure ‘double engine’ (formation of BJP government both at Centre and Odisha).
