Bhubaneswar: As a measure to prevent the spread of deadly coronavirus (COVID-19), the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will conduct will use drones to spray disinfectants as part of a trial sanitation drive tomorrow.

As per the decision taken by the BMC, disinfectants will be sprayed using drones in the stretch from Raj Mahal Square to Sishu Bhavan Square from 10 am to 3 pm, informed Suvendu Sahu, Deputy Commissioner (Sanitation) of the civic body.

The civic body asked people staying in these areas not to step out of their homes considering the health hazards of sodium hypochlorite.

In Bhubaneswar, 42 cases of COVID-19 have been detected so far.
