Boat capsizes in Odisha’s Malkangiri; 1 dead, 3 missing

Malkangiri: A boat capsized in Balimela reservoir near Ambulibedha under Chitrakonda panchayat of Odisha’s Malkangiri district killing a person while three others went missing.

According to reports, four members of a family, including a 25-year-old woman and eight-month-old baby girl, were returning home on a boat around 4 pm yesterday, when it overturned due to high tides.

While body of the woman, identified as Sanadei Galri, was recovered today by locals, three others were yet to be traced. Till last reports came in, district administration officials were yet to reach the spot.
